Today marks the launch of the newly developed web site for Bumblebug, a West Hartford, CT-based creator of unique products and services for children, including custom hand-painted furnishings, unique clothing and accessories, personalized art, and more. Through its highly customized products and services, the company strives to create unique environments for children that inspire imagination and creativity in them.
When approaching this design, it was important to create something that was as unique as the products and services to be showcased. This process began for Crucial Networking with a logo design for Bumblebug, and carried through to the web site design, development, and content management system.
With her new web site and accompanying CMS, Bumblebug owner Olivia Hanzel is able to keep the time required to maintain her web site to a minimum, allowing her to focus more of her time on her unique products! The CMS developed for Bumblebug features the ability to edit all text-based content on the web site, as well as the management of product imagery. Additionally, submissions from the site's various forms (tell a friend, contact, inquire about this product) are stored in a database as backup and for easy maintenance.
